CoursesThe following names are listed in the map showing their location Alpine Golf ClubProbably the best course in Bangkok and with the highest course and slope ratings of any course in Thailand. Could be compared to a mini August National, absolutely perfect maintenance with lightning fast greens, superb white sand bunkers and all located in a beautiful natural oasis - IGST’s favourite course. IGST plays here on the first Thursday of the month and the third Tuesday - usually at the member guest rate. Located about 45 minutes north of Bangkok and well worth the visit. A top class, grass driving range available. IGST plays here on the third or fourth Thursday of the month - a beautiful European style course with less water than most Thailand courses, modern facilities and never very busy. No driving range. Located about 35 minutes north of Bangkok the course boasts a quality, undulating design with good greens and bunkers, modern clubhouse, driving range and good f&b. The course is first class - probably top 10 in Bangkok, located about 50 minutes north of Bangkok. Brand new modern clubhouse, good maintenance, fast greens, good bunkers and interesting varied design. When Korean and Japanese tourists are fully back in Thailand the rate will be about the double of what we pay! No driving range. Located adjacent to an estuary the temperature is always cooler and the weather breezy. The greens are some of the best in Thailand, regularly running at between 9 and 10 on the stimp metre, all greenside bunkers have been renovated and contain sharp white sand with the edging being constructed of the latest technology in artificial grass sods. The clubhouse is clean, vast and modern and the restaurant serves excellent food. No driving range. Greens can be bumpy and the course can be a little wet at times but it’s a regular favourite for larger budget events. A good, grass driving range over water. Excellent grass driving range and top class clubhouse and facilities including Onsen in the locker rooms, cashless purchases using a fob provided at check in, comfortable spacious clubhouse with carpets and decent food. The course itself would be considered to be in the top 5 in Bangkok with excellent maintenance, good fast greens, tidy uniform bunkers and well kept short rough - not a difficult course but very enjoyable. About 40 minutes drive from central Bangkok - however avoid early morning tee times as the exit from the motorway is blocked due to traffic and food markets from about 06h30 until 08h30.
