Hi Phillip,

 

 

Welcome to our next monthly event involving the hospitality sector in Thailand:

 

THE INTERNATIONAL HOSPITALITY GOLF SERIES or IHGS

 

As the name indicates, these events will carry a strong hospitality element and allow you to discover the amazing variety of hotels, restaurants and fine products that are available in the wonderful metropolis of Bangkok.

 

Each month a different hospitality entity will provide a complimentary buffet on the course where you can sample fine quality cuisine and produce from around the world.

 

The fun doesn't stop there! After your competitive round of golf there will be a prize giving in a quality Bangkok establishment where the accent is on elegance and conviviality - you are warmly invited to bring your partners, family and friends.

 

Indeed as we progress with this series we intend to found a luncheon/dinner club to which all members will be invited - who can resist a luxury riverside meal at the prestigious 5 star Capella hotel for example? More to follow on this aspect in early September.

 

The full details of the first event are contained in the flyer below, it will take place on Saturday 20th August at Royal Lakeside Golf Club, first tee time 11h30 with a two tee start. The price is 2900 THB including green fee, caddie fee , individual cart, on-course buffet and gin cocktails,  match fees and tee gifts.

 

EARLY BIRD PRICE OF 2700 THB FOR SIGNUPS BEFORE 18TH AUGUST

 

This course is famous for it's excellent greens, superb recently renovated bunkers and a nice cool breeze!

 

On this occasion the buffet will be provided by Bourbon Street restaurant and will include complimentary gin and vodka cocktails.

 

The prize giving will take place at Bourbon Street restaurant in soi 63 - 250 yards from Ekamai BTS and parking available. We have a separate room and bar reserved for us on the 7th floor where there is an outside terrace and karaoke facilities. Here there will be complimentary tasting of Monte Carlo vodka provided by Cote d'Azur spirits.

 

The sit down dinner will be a 5 course quality  Louisiana style buffet with free flow beer and soft drinks.- price per person 990 THB payable at the door.

 

A lucky draw will take place during the evening for two 5000 THB vouchers for the famous Spasso Bistro located in the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel and 2 golf package vouchers for the new luxury Aquella golf resort in Phuket - make sure you attend!

 

For this series no previous game with IGST is necessary in order to compete - you must however be in possession of a WHS handicap in order to win the overall prizes. All participants are eligible for the pin prizes and the lucky draws.Standard IGST local rules apply.
