Located at the end on Silom road, under the Novotel Fenix Silom and near to the famous 'Sky Bar' at Lebua, Maggie Choo's is both a restaurant and a bar, a place like nothing we have seen before in Bangkok or beyond. If no one told you where it's located, Maggie Choo's is really hard to spot, just a small old wooden Chinese door outside the Novotel and if the staff at the hotel reception didn't point it out to me, I would have missed it entirely.

Who is Maggie Choo
“A beautiful young girl from the countryside started in life begging and singing in the streets of Shanghai. Soon she was discovered by a cabaret owner who made her the star act of his famed establishment. Courted by many men and adventurers she fell in love with a handsome Japanese officer but their passionate love affair led to his demise – in Maggie’s own hands.The prime suspect of the Japanese army, she fled Shanghai in 1937 and travelled to Bangkok. One day, while walking by the hotel she was staying in, she found a shop house selling noodles and fell in love with it.
