visiting Bangkok (not newbies)
we started the evening with sunset drinks at famous Redsky rooftop 61flrs up in Siam
it's a short walk - around 600mtrs and vary easy
through the major shopping mall Centralworld which is connected to Redsky
then along the skywalk and as you walk North to the intersection you have multiple choice options to cross the road, we opted for a short cut (I like short cuts) through the back of the main interchange Pier Pratu Nam (thai word meaning water gate) and along alley to the markets
our plan was simple
live it up with a cocktail and glorious sunset views views and then go casual with meal and relax at the markets
lol diner at the markets was almost the price of drinks at the rooftop but it's horses for courses the view from the rooftop is priceless and everyone deserves a visit

we like to make spontaneous outings without giving proper notice to the host of our program so we can experience the tour in the same capacity as the public
we also like to capture our media "on the fly" whilst participating sometimes its awesome and others times ... hmmm never mind
what we say about this place
 Location: Awesome
in the centre of town
access via the local canal which is fun on the fast canal boat
the isles in the market are quite wide which is unusual for asian markets
Menu: Excellent:
enormous range of food from the norm to the exotic
lots of bargains
Value for money: Yes
3 hr tour
we would rate this market among the best for tourist , certainly in the top 5 and there are many
 we have tried and tested the tours since 2009 (every few years) and we are always joyful of our experience

the Pet cafe is madness .. lol so many different animals, rabbits, turtles and even snakes an and lizards - small price to pet, play up to you
The Ice cream stalls are awesome as are the cute barber shops and the bars at the back with music and 1st floor sea container balconies are ideal for you

it's the back stage of the city, lots of good shopping, many wholesale shops to supply the city but you have to work it out as it's mainly for locals
