when u share the link from Theta site the fetch is only a screen shot !! DOES NOT do justice to the display so I do not recommend you load to facebook this way, see tricks down the page this was the 1st image loaded by Ty from my suggestion to try the site, he did not know it was avail as he does not have a Theta device..
I then made the page to explain options for Ty and all who now read

no VR mode, powerful zoom in / out with pinch finger control and tools bottom right to mod view little planet and more

Non Theta usersyou do not need a Theta Camera, the app is free to download
in app, click option top left for album to find non Theta images to upload
Theta have several apps for camera and images

No 360 CameraIf you dnt have a 360 spherical camera .. No problem
in this page 360 Device - No camera you can see which smartphone apps will manually build a Sphere using only the camera on the smartphone
obviously it takes a little time to take multiple photos but the app will auto stitch
then use any of the free host sites
Best share methoda direct share DOES NOT do justice to your creation

Tricks:
1. show a brief video snippet
make a quick 5 to 10 sec video using smartphone to show the animation including using mod tools (bottom right)
example of the mod tools are in my main Theta page (unless a sub page is created)
This example is much longer becoz I wanted to include credit to the owner of the image ext link
I made this vid quickly without a coffee 1st thing in the morning .. lol
the difference is obvious the viewer is teased with the animation and informed of tools most people dnt know about the mod tools
2. or loan the 360 as normal + include link to Theta

1st load in your PAGE OR A FAN PAGE - NOT GROUPS
Groups do not allow share or embed
1st load to your page it better create a fan page (my fan page Round to it in 360 Spherical -
Fan page it is expected to be more public so more share tools are included
then include a link in the post comments to the Theta site (then you have a record of the url for you and viewers)

Screen Shotshey don't forget, once you have the image in Theta (high res display) you can morph the image in full screen and download the images or take screen shots

1. screen capture (using free app (lightshot) see main Theta page link top of page
2. in Theta site right click save or copy
 you can do the same directly within the free Theta app, selecting the mirror view, resize and rotate
and note there is a BIG difference holding the phone in Portrait V's Landscape re image size and the option to save to camera roll is very good giving you resolution sizes
so .. why bother with a normal camera .. use 360 and then output the angle you want
also did you know
in Theta app Video you can do the incredible .. multiple video angles
use mirror, re size to be a standard fisheye and output, then go back and change the angle and save again
you now have the exact same audio but with 2 diff video angles as if you had 2 video's recording
now put those 2 videos side by side and .. wow

Dnt have a camera - no problem - see comments under section No 360 Camera
try a perfect 360 Pano video from spherical photo
when you see the result you will do more
when you load a 360 into their app from camera roll .. ie ., nothing to do with uploading to their host cloud - this is local process in app
select output as video, this will product a faultless 360 video Pan in various res and speeds
I often do this to include with a standard video BECOZ the pano is faultless and do produce such effect would require good equipment
