Best described as a holiday escape shack in a heritage zone of Talad Noi riverside of Chinatown Bangkok The atmosphere is is part gallery and a friend’s house, colorful vintage furnishings, all sorts of cat-related curios and paintings hanging on the wall. Most of the tables are set out on the terrace and reservations are a must for the ones with the best views. Touch class about the menu and that's a twist in an old rustic shack .. lol
You'll need a little desire to find the path down Soi Wat Khang then onto the Alley (Trok) and wander a little distance on a solid winding concrete path that goes around a few blind corners passing ancient wooden buildings formed up over the river
when you get there you will know, the entrance wall is dense with vegetation and the entrance is quite grand and enchanting and thats confusing and infusion as you pass through this chill chill shack
around 7.50pm the massive endless parade of dine cruise ships start launching from nearby Rivercity Pier, stunning display until around 9pm

get the taxi to known temple, Wat Pathum Khongkha then walk North 50 mtrs and turn left, short street 40 mtrs changes into a Tdrok (alley way) go left 50 mtrs to find the entrance
enjoy the journey
take the local river ferry to Pier N4 Marine dept and walk 400mtrs thru heritage area
100mtrs North is shuttle Pier Sawasdee to cross the river (the shuttle boat transfers every 20 / 30 mins) cross the river will get you to the amazing Lhong1919
which was a former heritage Chinese Trader mansion and now (2018) a funky Food and drinks / Sourviners and Chinese temple

or best find a local Thai friend or best stay a few nights in the area .. the mood in the evenings is very special .. its a big chill chill / community theme
