The bar has an exciting array of cocktails, spirits, soft drinks and snacks accompanied by a back drop like nothing you have seen before. The bar overlooks the Wat Arun Temple (or The Temple of Dawn), one of Thailand’s best known landmarks famed for the first light of the morning reflecting off the surface of the temple with pearly iridescence. With a history dating back to the 17th century and the addition of the Prang (spires) in the early 19th century, the temple offers culture and elegance with every passing glance.

If the beauty of day break reflecting of the Wat Arun Temple isn’t enough, then 342 Bar offers spectacular views of Thailand’s most sacred Buddhist temples, the Wat Phra Kaew. The Wat Phra Kaew (or Temple of the Emerald Buddha), is a perhaps the most potent symbol of Thai society, reflecting both our Political and Religious ethos, and as it is in the precincts of the Grand Palace, its architecture alone is a spectacle of Thai brilliance.
