Drone photo / video mission
useful info for other dronies
typically I use a few maps to work out the mission
the 5 P's .. Proper Planning prevents Poor Performance
sometimes just go to a location and see what happens .. the outcome is trash or treasure .. lol
1. measure distance to targets
google maps you can zoom and and right click for measure distance
2. find a suitable launch land site
google maps let you zoom down into street view to check the access
the site depends on distance to travel .. must have line of site of drone and clear of signal issues

 sometimes its on the side of the road but it attracts people to talk when you have to focus and when the kids come I always can resist showing the screen view if ok with parents, the kids love the drone with flashing lights .. lol anyway back to the mission
3. find suitable hover locations
do not hover over people, if taking / creating spherical photos it requires 23 photos so hovering for a few mins is required
4. calculate weather and sun / sunset positions
the benefit of the drone is we can move quickly to diff positions
the benefit of the sun survey app is we can check the position of the sun and view it at street to know the best time to be there .. brilliant

Bonus
after taking the shots I decided to see if there was a short cut to the markets and followed the flow of motor bike taxi that slip around the back of the mall, it's a little scary walking around the dark alley especially with Soi dogs wondering around, often they will approach you (not in anger) but in search of food
Eventually the alley lead me out into a side street alongside the markets so I decided to start up the 360 video

next door is a big mall that buses in tourists, across the road is the local canal see pics beloiw

I like the wide isles and the sea container bars at the rear with seating on top which are typical for night markets

 when it's too dark the camera can not handle of the lighting variations, a few spots are clear otherwise it's a dud photo .. lol
we all know what its about with dud photos .. just keep going
