Lemoncello Pizzeria
Mention Pizzeria Limoncello and we’re immediately assaulted with memories of burnt fingers, tingling tongues, and the unmistakable smell of pizzas firing away in the wood ovens. Famous for their Napolitan style creations, Pizzeria Limoncello’s pizzas are loaded almost edge to edge with toppings that range from fresh vegetables and mushrooms to generous portions of melting cheese and layers of thin ham. The crusts boast a nice char and each cheesy bite of signatures, such as the Pizza Limoncello and the salaciously named Pizza Erotica, yield punchy bursts of traditional Italian flavours that’ll really get you salivating. Their premium ingredients and expertise don’t just apply to quality pizzas, however. Indulge in silky pastas such as Homemade Black Tagliolini White Wine Seafood and Pasta with Imported Canadian Lobster, or chef specials like the Lamb Tenderloin or Pan Fried Foie Gras Salad, before finally calling it quits with their decadent Torta di Mela con Crema di Viniglia (apple and cinnamon cake with nougat ice cream). The warm, rustic nature of Pizzeria Limoncello is reminiscent of the cheerful décor and unpretentious vibe of eateries in Italy and its authentic Italian nosh is nothing to scoff at either – looks like it’s another one for the books!
