General introduction, Major Shopping Centres, Loyalty cards  and a few shopping items

Bangkok offers you the extreme opportunty to indulge in "start the art" sophisticated shopping at 5 star premium label shopping centres as well as transcending history with a multiple chocies of markets that compliment Nationality, regions and themes.

Bangkok has numerous department stores and shopping centres. The larger chains, like Central, Robinson, Tesco Lotus, Carrefour and The Mall, have branches in many location. Usually these are very large with an extensive range of specially goods, haicraft shops and supermarkets. Some have entertainment areas including cinemas, skating, rinks, video games or play areas for children and teenagers. Most centres have an area allocated for ‘theme’ sales or promotions e.g. computers/mobile telephone/electrical appliances, shoes/handbags.

Store loyalty cards

Many of the large stores and chains offer royalty cards which offer further discounts, special deals, redeemable vouchers etc. They are either free or have a very small cost.
